Your business's data, on your terms
Handing an assistant your inbox is a big ask for any business — let alone a small one where that inbox is the business. So the guardrails are built into the product, not written into a policy.
Your data isn't our business model
You pay for Vger — your data isn't the product, and no one at Vger accesses or collects it. Only the AI interacts with your accounts, at your explicit direction, to carry out what you asked.
Nothing happens without your say-so
Before anything with real-world consequences — an email sent, a message staged, a meeting moved, a call placed — Vger shows you exactly what it's about to do and waits for your confirmation. A WhatsApp message opens in WhatsApp with the text ready; you tap send.
It can't delete your data. Period.
Deleting emails, events, or files from your workspace is blocked in Vger's code. Not a setting you toggle, not a promise in a policy — the capability simply doesn't exist.
Access you grant — and can take back
Vger connects through Google's and Microsoft's own sign-in screens and never sees your password. Vger can read, create and update the documents you keep there — and before it changes any file, it saves a dated backup copy beside the original, so nothing is ever lost. It never deletes anything. Everything is encrypted and isolated per user and organization, and you can revoke access from your Google or Microsoft account at any time.
It only listens where you opened it
The microphone runs only while the assistant screen is open. Step into Settings, switch apps, or put the phone down and the mic and the connection are torn down — not muted, closed. Vger is never listening in the background.
The questions every owner asks before they start
Most worries about AI come from the version in the films — a system that runs on its own, decides things for itself, and can't be switched off. Vger is the opposite by design: it runs only while you're talking to it, it can only do a fixed list of things, and the ones that matter wait for your yes. Here's exactly how that works — and where the real limits are.
Is Vger listening in the background?
No. The microphone runs only while the assistant screen is open and you are in a conversation. Leave that screen — switch apps, open Settings, put the phone down — and the microphone and the connection are torn down, not muted. There is no background listening and no always-on wake word. When Vger is closed, it is off.
Does Vger do things on its own when I'm not using it?
No. Vger has no initiative of its own: it runs when you open it and stops when you leave. It never browses your inbox, reads your files, or acts on your accounts in the background. There are exactly two exceptions, and you create both yourself: an action you scheduled — "email the team the numbers every Monday" — which you set up and confirmed in advance, and which runs through the same checks as a live request; and, if you run a team and switch it on, drafting replies in a shared support inbox, which only ever prepares drafts for a person to review and never sends anything.
Could it take an action I never asked for?
It cannot invent one. Vger can only perform actions that exist in its code — send an email, move a meeting, place a call, create a document, tick off a to-do. There is no general power to "do things" on your accounts. Anything with real-world consequences stops at a confirmation card showing exactly what is about to happen, and waits for your yes. The AI proposes, the code decides what is allowed, and you approve. Every action is recorded with how it was confirmed.
Can Vger delete my emails, files, or calendar events?
No — and this is enforced in code, not promised in a policy. Any delete-shaped request is refused at two separate points before it can reach your account, and the refusal is written to the record. It isn't a setting you could turn off by accident. Ask Vger to delete something and it will tell you plainly that it can't, and that you'll need to do it yourself.
What can Vger actually reach in my account?
Only what you grant on Google's or Microsoft's own consent screen, which lists it in full before you agree. Today that is: read your mail and send or draft mail; read and manage calendar events; read your contacts (read-only — Vger cannot change them on Google); read, create and edit Drive or OneDrive files; and read and update your to-dos. Before Vger changes any file it saves a dated backup copy beside the original, so an edit is never a loss. You can revoke all of it from your Google or Microsoft account at any time, without asking us.
Does anyone at Vger read my email or files?
No. No one at Vger accesses or collects the contents of your connected accounts. Only the AI interacts with them, at your explicit direction, to carry out what you asked. You pay for Vger, so your data is not the product: we don't sell it, we don't share it for anyone else's use, and we don't show ads.
Is my business data used to train AI models?
No. Your request, and any data needed to answer it, is processed by our cloud AI providers acting on our behalf to run the service. Under our agreements with them, that data is not used to train their models.
What if an email or document contains instructions aimed at the AI?
Vger treats the contents of your mail and files as information to answer with, never as orders to follow. And the backstop is the same one that covers everything else: nothing with consequences happens without your explicit confirmation, nothing can be deleted, and Vger can only ever reach the accounts you connected. The worst case is a bad suggestion on your screen that you decline — not an action taken behind your back.
Where is my data kept, and is it encrypted?
Vger never sees your password: sign-in happens on Google's or Microsoft's own pages, and the access tokens that come back are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. Documents you upload — your knowledge base and chat attachments — are encrypted on disk too. Everything is isolated per user and per organization, so one account's data is never reachable from another.
Can I see what my team is doing with it?
Yes — that's what organization accounts are for. Write your usage rules in plain English and Vger applies them to every request, either blocking it or flagging it for review, as you choose. Set a monthly spend cap and a voice allowance per employee. Open any employee's conversation history to see how AI is being used, search across the whole organization by meaning, and read the record of which rules fired and which actions ran.
How well does it work in a noisy place, or when several people are talking?
This is the honest limit of talking to any assistant. In a quiet room, a car, or an office, Vger hears you well. In a loud workshop, a busy restaurant, on a site, or in a meeting where several people are speaking at once, it can mishear a word — a name, a time, an amount — or pick up someone else's sentence as though it were yours. Vger does not recognise your voice specifically: it hears whoever is loudest and clearest. The practical answer is to step somewhere quieter for anything that matters, hold the phone closer, or simply type it instead — typing works exactly the same way and reaches the same assistant.
What happens if it mishears me?
Nothing goes out on a misheard sentence. Because every action with real-world consequences is shown to you on a confirmation card first — the actual recipient, the actual time, the actual wording — a mistake shows up as something to decline, not something to undo. Say no, correct it in the same breath, and carry on. Vger also asks rather than guesses when a request is missing something, and it will never fill in a name or an address it isn't sure about.
